Clinique VirtuaSanté inc. collects your personal information in connection with its online healthcare services.
Information collected
We may collect the information necessary to identify you, manage your file, provide your care and handle billing, including:
- your contact information and date of birth;
- your health information;
- information related to your appointments;
- information necessary for payment.
Use of your information
Your information is used to:
- create and manage your file;
- provide you with the healthcare services requested and ensure follow-up;
- communicate with you regarding your care, your file and your appointments;
- carry out billing and payments.
By booking an appointment, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes indicated above.
Retention
Your information is kept for as long as necessary and in accordance with applicable legal and professional obligations. It is then securely destroyed.
Disclosure to third parties and outside Quebec
Where necessary for the provision of services, your information may be accessible to or disclosed to the following providers:

Some providers may process or have access to your information outside Quebec, including Cal.com and Stripe. Where required by law, VirtuaSanté takes the necessary measures to ensure its protection.
By booking an appointment, you consent to the disclosure of your information to the providers identified above, or to access to it by these providers, including where it is processed or accessible outside Quebec.
Your rights
If a new use or disclosure of your personal information requires your consent, VirtuaSanté will inform you and ask for your additional consent before proceeding.
You may also request access to your personal information or its rectification, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time, without having to justify your decision and without affecting the care already received. You may do so:
- verbally, with the professional during a consultation;
- by email, at contact@virtuasante.ca;
- by phone, at 438-940-9726.
Your request will be recorded in your file with the date of receipt and, where relevant, its consequences on the continuation of care or services. The care or services concerned will then be discontinued.
